The 10.F0.200-0000 control cabinet is produced by KEB as part of the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. It integrates an inverter, protective switching, and field terminals so the drive section can be mounted as a ready-to-run assembly inside a machinery enclosure. In production lines, it conditions three-phase mains power and delivers controlled voltage and frequency to an attached AC motor.
The cabinet is designed for a three-phase network in the 400 V class and supplies a rated output of 5.8 A, equivalent to 4.0 kVA of apparent power. Its IGBT bridge can synthesize up to 408 Hz of fundamental frequency, permitting overspeed operation where process throughput demands it. The drive section supports motors up to 2.2 kW, and the enclosure has an IP20 protection rating. Upstream protection relies on a 10 A mains fuse and a 16 A intermediate fuse that coordinate with the cabinet's internal bus structure. Line connection requires three phases and ground conductors sized for installation limits. These values are used when selecting incoming contactors, EMC filters, and external braking resistors for complex drive trains.
Thermal management and installation clearances affect continuous service. Power losses reach 75 W, so the unit needs 50 mm side clearance and 100 mm above and below its frame to allow natural convection. Adequate spacing around the cabinet allows heat from the power section to escape without forced cooling. Auxiliary electronics are isolated by a 0.4 A time-lag control fuse that trips before main components are stressed. Operation is permitted up to 3000 m altitude without current derating, provided cable runs use a conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm² for both mains and motor leads. This spacing supports airflow around the cabinet and helps maintain stable switching behavior during long production shifts.
