Product Description:
The 10.F0.R01-4B09 is a variable-frequency drive cabinet produced by KEB within the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. The unit combines power electronics, protective devices, and wiring terminals in a compact enclosure to convert mains power into adjustable AC voltage and frequency for asynchronous motors. In automated machinery, the cabinet serves as the central link between plant-level controllers and motor loads, allowing speed, torque, and process flow to be adjusted without mechanical throttling. Its integrated layout also reduces the need to mount the inverter, protection components, and connection terminals separately within the surrounding panel.
At the input stage, the drive is designed for three-phase networks with a nominal line voltage of 400 V. When fully loaded, the inverter can deliver 5.8 A of sinusoidal output current, corresponding to a continuous apparent power of 4.0 kVA at its terminals. The internal control system supports an output frequency of up to 408 Hz, making the drive suitable for high-speed spindle or blower applications. The cabinet has an ingress protection rating of IP20, which protects against finger contact with live parts but does not provide protection against water. The cabinet must therefore be installed within a suitable closed panel that provides the required protection for the operating area. Switching devices and filter components should be selected for the drive’s voltage, current, and power levels.
A dedicated control circuit is protected by a 0.4 A time-delay fuse, while the intermediate DC link uses a 16 A fast-acting protective element and is monitored for overvoltage and undervoltage at 800 V and 380 V. Thermal monitoring activates at 70 °C, and the cabinet dissipates 75 W of heat at a 4 kHz carrier frequency, so the surrounding enclosure must provide adequate airflow. The installation altitude can reach 3000 m without derating when ambient pressure permits sufficient cooling. The maximum supported motor size is 2.2 kW, and outgoing conductors must have a cross-sectional area of at least 1.5 mm². A 10 A mains fuse must be installed upstream to protect the incoming supply circuit.
