Product Description:
The 09.F0.V50-G901 is a pre-assembled control cabinet delivered by KEB within the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. As a cabinet-mounted drive solution, it consolidates power electronics, protection components, and signal interfaces so that AC motors can be started, accelerated, and regulated from a single enclosure. In automated production lines, the unit streamlines installation because it arrives fully wired, leaving the machine builder to connect mains power, field I/O, and network cables before startup.
During operation, the enclosure is rated at IP20, so it is intended for clean indoor areas where only basic touch protection is required. Ambient air may reach up to 45 °C, while the unit remains functional down to -10 °C without derating. The integrated inverter can generate output up to 408 Hz, and this frequency range permits speed control of high-pole or spindle motors beyond mains frequency. A control-circuit fuse of 0.4 A protects the logic supply against short circuits and helps isolate faults before they spread to the main bus. Continuous service is allowed when surrounding moisture stays at or below 95 % relative humidity, provided condensation is avoided.
The cabinet must be installed no higher than 3000 m above sea level, because reduced air density at greater elevations impedes heat dissipation. Drive commands can be supplied through a voltage reference with an input resistance of 56 kΩ or through a current reference with an input resistance of 500 Ω, allowing compatibility with standard 0–10 V or 0–20 mA control loops. To sustain convection cooling, at least 100 mm of free space must be left above and below the cabinet, along with 50 mm of clearance on the front and sides. For storage, the cabinet tolerates temperatures between -25 °C and 70 °C, allowing it to be shipped or warehoused without special conditioning.
