Product Description:
The 09.F0.R21-4000 is a pre-assembled drive controller rack built by KEB for the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. It houses power electronics and protective devices that supply and regulate three-phase motors in automated machinery, providing a centralized platform for motion control within packaging lines, conveyors, and general factory automation. Its rack layout keeps the inverter and protection hardware in one enclosure, which helps simplify integration with machine-level power distribution and motor wiring.
The cabinet connects to a three-phase supply, and its design accepts 400 VAC mains at standard industrial line frequencies of 50 or 60 Hz. Under these conditions, the inverter section can deliver a continuous apparent power of 2.8 kVA and a corresponding output current of 4.1 A to the motor terminals. Switching losses generate up to 65 W of heat at a 4 kHz carrier frequency, so forced airflow through the enclosure must be maintained. Incoming power is routed through three line fuses, including the main 10 A protection and an additional intermediate-circuit fuse also rated at 10 A, while a 0.4 A miniature fuse safeguards the control logic. The power stage accommodates 3 input phases and uses a minimum conductor size of 1.5 mm² to keep wiring temperature within limits.
For connected machinery, the cabinet can energize motors up to 1.5 kW without derating, provided installation follows spatial and environmental guidelines. An air gap of 100 mm above and below the rack promotes convection, and the total assembly mass is 3 kg, allowing easier handling during panel integration. Operation is permitted at elevations up to 3000 m, where thinner air reduces cooling efficiency. The housing carries an IP20 ingress rating, so it must be installed inside a sealed machine frame if dust or dripping liquids are present. Electronics are coated to tolerate ambient moisture levels up to 95% relative humidity as long as condensation is avoided, supporting reliable service in humid production halls.
