Product Description:
The 09.F0.R21-1228 is a frequency-inverter control cabinet supplied by KEB within the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. It houses power electronics and protective components that adjust three-phase motor voltage and frequency so that machine builders can regulate speed, torque, and direction from a compact panel assembly. By integrating the inverter, fusing, and control terminals in one enclosure, the unit simplifies installation in conveyors, small pump skids, and other industrial automation nodes. This arrangement reduces the amount of separate panel hardware needed around the drive and keeps the motor control section contained in one cabinet.
Rated output is 2.8 kVA, providing enough apparent power to service motors up to 1.5 kW while leaving margin for control losses. The drive produces an adjustable output frequency of 0 to 408 Hz, which allows operation well above line frequency for high-speed motor applications. Corresponding line-to-line voltage is delivered as 3 x 0 to UMains, meaning the inverter generates a three-phase waveform that scales from zero to the incoming supply level. For short acceleration bursts, the overload window of 151 to 200 % for 30 seconds lets the cabinet deliver double current without tripping, while further limits of 131 to 150% for two minutes and 111 to 130% for five minutes broaden the duty profile. A 0.4 A time-lag control-circuit fuse protects the low-voltage logic, and input synchronization is maintained at 50/60 ± 2 Hz mains.
The permissible operating temperature spans -10 to +45 °C, and the assembly can be stored or transported between -25 and +70 °C when it is out of service. Its enclosure carries the IP20 code, so it must be installed in a closed panel to prevent accidental contact with energized parts. Altitude capability reaches a maximum site elevation of 3000 m, and continuous output is automatically reduced by 1 % per 100 m above 1000 m to limit thermal stress on the semiconductors. This reduction helps maintain stable heat dissipation where thinner air lowers cooling effectiveness.
