Product Description:
The 09.F0.R11-3479 is a pre-assembled inverter cabinet produced by KEB for the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. The enclosure brings together power semiconductors, protective fuses, and connection hardware so that a three-phase motor drive can be installed quickly inside an automation cell. By converting fixed mains voltage to a variable output, it permits closed-loop speed control of conveyors, pumps, and fan loads used throughout material-handling, packaging, and process machinery. The cabinet links plant supply networks and motion equipment in new or retrofit applications.
The cabinet is designed for three input phases and belongs to the 400 V mains voltage class, so it connects directly to standard industrial feeders without a step-down transformer. A separate control circuit is protected by a 0.4 A fuse, while the incoming power lines are safeguarded by a 10 A mains fuse that limits fault currents before downstream components are affected. Under nominal conditions, the inverter delivers a 4.1 A output to the motor, translating to a continuous drive capability of 2.8 kVA. Field wiring should use 1.5 mm² conductors, a size that balances ampacity with panel space. To maintain airflow, the cabinet must be mounted in a vertical orientation with at least 50 mm of side clearance and 100 mm above and below the housing so that convection can remove heat.
Thermal loading is modest; only 65 W of heat is released at full load, allowing installation in tight control rooms without supplemental cooling. When paired with a motor rated up to 1.5 kW, the cabinet supplies full torque across the speed range while staying within its protection limits. The housing carries an IP20 rating, indicating finger-safe openings but no dust-tight sealing, and the rack weighs only 3 kg, which helps simplify overhead or wall mounting. Operation is permitted up to 3000 m altitude, provided the specified clearances are maintained for unobstructed convection.
