Product Description:
The 09.F0.R03-1228 cabinet is an AC motor drive enclosure produced by KEB as part of the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. It houses the power electronics and control interfaces needed to modulate supply voltage and frequency so that induction motors follow speed and torque commands in continuous-duty automation lines. It is intended for installation inside a machine panel, bringing together the inverter stage, control logic, and basic protection functions in a compact assembly.
The cabinet is engineered for the 200 V voltage class, which is suitable for compatible low-voltage utility supplies. Internally, it rectifies the incoming power and generates three output phases so that motors requiring up to 2.8 kVA of apparent power can operate at rated load. Under nominal conditions, the output current reaches 7.0 A, while the supported mechanical shaft output is 1.5 kW. The switching devices operate at frequencies up to 16 kHz, allowing fine pulse-width resolution that can reduce acoustic noise and improve torque linearity. The cabinet uses one input phase and provides three output phases, simplifying wiring in small machinery with a compatible power supply. Its integrated arrangement also reduces the number of separate power and control components that must be mounted within the surrounding panel.
The enclosure carries an IP20 protection rating, so it must be mounted inside a closed panel that provides suitable protection from the surrounding operating area. Installation is permitted at elevations up to 3000 m above sea level. Above that elevation, the output must be derated by 1% per 100 m because reduced air density limits cooling performance. Relative humidity can reach 95% without condensation, provided that temperature changes are controlled to prevent moisture from forming on internal components. A 0.4 A slow-blow control-circuit fuse protects the logic power supplies against excessive current. The design permits no more than one switching event per mains cycle, which helps keep stress on the semiconductor components within acceptable operating limits.
