The 09.F0.R03-0000 is a compact drive-control rack produced by KEB within the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. Installed inside a larger enclosure, it supplies power conditioning, logic interfacing, and fault protection for small-to-medium induction motors used in conveyors, pumps, mixers, and other process equipment. By combining drive electronics with field wiring terminals, the unit streamlines panel layout and provides a central point for parameter adjustment and status monitoring during normal machine operation.
This rack delivers a continuous output capability of 2.8 kVA, allowing it to energize motors up to 1.5 kW while maintaining voltage stability during acceleration and full-load operation. A 0.4 A time-lag fuse protects the control circuit against inrush or short-circuit events, helping prevent nuisance trips during contactor pull-in. The maximum mounting altitude is 3000 m; above this elevation, air density drops and additional derating is required. The housing carries an IP20 protection rating, so the rack must be mounted inside a cabinet to prevent contact with energized parts. Side clearance of 50 mm and top-and-bottom clearance of 100 mm are specified to maintain convective airflow through heat-generating components and reduce heat buildup around adjacent devices. For low-level signal exchange, the open-collector outputs can sink up to 30 mA at 30 V, and a reference source supplies 10 V DC at 6 mA for external potentiometers.
User I/O is provided through 3 programmable inputs for functions such as enable, jog, or fault reset, and 2 programmable relays can report drive status to higher-level controls.
