Product Description:
The 09.F0.R01-1228 cabinet inverter is manufactured by KEB and belongs to the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. Designed for installation inside standard machine panels, the unit houses the power stage, gate drive, and control logic needed to regulate three-phase induction or synchronous motors used in conveyors, pumps, and general motion axes. By integrating line-side filtering, fault monitoring, and fieldbus connectivity within one enclosure, it gives system builders a compact method of delivering speed control without external component wiring.
The drive’s continuous capability is rated at 2.8 kVA, so connected motors can draw this apparent power under steady load while remaining within temperature limits. Its output stage can modulate carrier frequency to reach up to 408 Hz, allowing high-speed operation of spindle or blower motors that require frequencies well above the mains. For short acceleration intervals, it tolerates a peak load of 200 % (30 s), which lets the application overcome inertia without selecting a larger frame size. When paired with a motor rated near 1.5 kW, the inverter can support the machine’s nominal operating range while keeping current within drive limits. All power components are contained behind an IP20 touch-safe grille, so the cabinet must be mounted in a protected electrical enclosure, but no additional finger guard is required.
The control cabinet can be placed in facilities situated up to 3000 m above sea level before derating is necessary, and it continues to function in ambient moisture levels as high as 95 %RH without condensation. After the mains is removed, a capacitor discharge interval of 5 min must elapse before the terminals are accessed. Thermal airflow demands leave 50 mm at each side and a top-to-bottom spacing of 100 mm, which helps prevent recirculation and keeps the heat sink within its design temperature.
