The 09.F0.G86-R009 cabinet is produced by KEB as part of the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. It is an enclosed inverter assembly that houses the power and control electronics required to regulate small-to-medium induction motors in automated machinery. By converting mains power into a variable-frequency output, the cabinet permits speed adjustment, torque limiting, and controlled stopping sequences for conveyors, pumps, and similar industrial loads.
The cabinet can deliver a continuous output of 2.8 kVA, and its protection logic trips when the output current reaches 200 % of the rated current to safeguard semiconductors and connected motors. Thermal monitoring disconnects the drive when the board temperature reaches 70 °C, while a control-circuit fuse rated at 0.4 A isolates low-voltage auxiliary circuits from faults. During brownouts, the unit maintains the gate drive for up to 40 ms, allowing the application to coast rather than stop abruptly. The reference inputs use isolated resistive networks with 500 Ω for current mode, 56 kΩ for primary voltage mode, and 4.4 kΩ for the secondary voltage channel. These resistance values accommodate common PLC analog outputs without excessive loading. A dedicated +15 V release terminal energizes external interlocks, and the installation requires 50 mm of side clearance so cooling air can reach the heat sink.
The unit supports motors up to 1.5 kW and carries an IP20 rating, providing finger-safe openings suitable for clean electrical rooms. It is intended for vertical mounting, with 100 mm of space above and below the enclosure to promote upward cooling airflow. Operation is permitted at altitudes up to 3000 m and at ambient humidity levels up to 95 %, provided that condensation does not occur. Protective monitoring shuts down the power stage if operating conditions exceed the permitted limits. The specified mounting orientation and clearances help prevent heat from accumulating around the enclosure during continuous operation.
