The 09.F0.200-1289 control cabinet drive module is produced by KEB within the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. It functions as a variable-frequency inverter stage intended to supply and regulate three-phase induction motors in automated machinery and material-handling lines. By combining power electronics, protective fusing, and signal conditioning inside an IP20 housing, the unit provides a compact means to adjust motor speed and torque in response to process commands from a PLC or similar supervisory controller. This arrangement lets the drive vary output frequency and voltage so the connected motor can respond to changing load conditions during operation. It can be used where steady speed control, ramped acceleration, and controlled deceleration are required from a cabinet-mounted inverter.
Primary protection elements are dimensioned to isolate faults before semiconductor damage occurs. The control logic is protected by a 0.4 A miniature fuse, while the converter input uses a 20 A mains fuse and a 16 A intermediate link fuse between the rectifier and the inverter. Overvoltage on the DC bus initiates a trip at 400 V, while undervoltage causes a shutdown when the link falls to 250 V. During normal operation, the cabinet delivers 2.8 kVA at a rated output current of 7.0 A, and the reference input presents 56 kΩ of impedance to control sources. If internal copper heating raises the PCB surface temperature to 70 °C, a thermal trip disengages the drive to protect internal components. The IP20 construction requires installation inside a ventilated enclosure to help prevent accidental contact.
For connected machines, the inverter can drive motors up to 1.5 kW and modulate frequency up to 408 Hz, enabling high-speed pumping or spindle duties. Continuous service is permitted from -10 °C to 45 °C ambient, with relative humidity not exceeding 95%. Installation altitude may reach 3000 m, and higher elevations require derating. The inverter is intended to operate within these temperature, humidity, and altitude limits to reduce thermal stress on semiconductors and magnetic components.
