Product Description:
The 09.F0.200-1278 control cabinet is produced by KEB within the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. It integrates a variable-frequency drive that converts fixed mains power into adjustable three-phase output, enabling speed and torque regulation for small industrial motors in automated conveyors, pumps, and general machinery. The enclosure provides coordinated fusing and reference inputs so the drive can be wired into a larger PLC-based control panel with fewer separate components. It combines the drive section with protective devices and control connections in one cabinet, which helps simplify panel layout for compact machine sections.
The inverter section draws line power at 230 V AC, and a 20 A maximum mains fuse restricts prospective fault current on this input. A separate 0.4 A control-circuit fuse protects logic boards, while a 16 A intermediate fuse disconnects the DC bus during overcurrent events. Under rated conditions, the unit supplies 2.8 kVA of apparent power, which corresponds to a continuous output of 7.0 A to the motor terminals. Frequency can be modulated up to 408 Hz, letting a four-pole machine reach speeds above 12,000 rpm when process requirements demand it. The power section is sized for motors up to 1.5 kW, and analog speed commands enter through 56 kΩ voltage or 500 Ω current input resistances. These input options allow the cabinet to accept common analog reference signals from external control equipment. Field wiring must use conductors of at least 2.5 mm², and the electronics remain functional at relative humidity levels as high as 95% without condensation.
The cabinet carries a protection rating of IP20, meaning live parts must be installed inside a closed panel but no additional gasketing is required. It operates within ambient temperatures from -10 °C to 45 °C, allowing installation in most production halls without cabinet heating or cooling. Altitude capability extends to 3000 m above sea level before output derating applies, so the unit can be used in elevated facilities. Because the housing is intended for installation inside a larger enclosure, it is best suited to dry industrial locations where access to energized parts is restricted.
