Product Description:
The 09.F0.R13-0000 is an inverter section supplied by KEB for the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. It converts a fixed 50/60 Hz mains input into a variable three-phase waveform that drives asynchronous motors used in material-handling and process-equipment axes. Designed as a cabinet-mounted assembly, the unit combines power electronics with low-level control so that speed, torque, and start-stop routines can be commanded directly through a PLC’s reference channels. This arrangement eliminates the need for external signal conditioners and stand-alone line reactors in many small machine frames.
The power channel delivers a continuous apparent power of 2.8 kVA and can supply motors rated up to 1.5 kW while maintaining regulated voltage and current. Output frequency is adjustable from 0 to 408 Hz, allowing high-frequency spindles to operate above their base speed or conveyors to run at low speeds without cogging. The control electronics are protected by a 0.4 A time-lag fuse that tolerates inrush current but opens during sustained faults. Six digital command terminals accept logic levels from 13 to 30 VDC, so standard 24 V sensors and interlocks can be connected without level shifters. Additional analog resources include a 0–10 VDC reference output rated at 6 mA for potentiometer speed control and a matching 0–10 VDC feedback output rated at 1 mA for drive status. A +15 VDC, 30 mA source can power incremental encoders or Hall switches.
The housing has an IP20 protection rating, and the electronics operate within a temperature range of -10 to +45 °C. Full performance is maintained at altitudes up to 3000 m without derating. For transient overloads, the drive supports 151–200% for 30 seconds, 131–150% for 2 minutes, and 111–130% for 5 minutes, allowing brief torque increases during acceleration or jam recovery. Complementary interfaces include an open-collector fault output rated at 30 VDC and 30 mA. Multiple analog reference inputs accept either ±10 V or 0–20 mA signals. The permitted storage temperature ranges from -25 to +70 °C.
