Product Description:
The 07.F0.R01-1278 control cabinet is produced by KEB within the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. It houses power electronics and protective components that link a low-power AC motor to the plant mains and to a higher-level PLC. In an automated line, the cabinet routes supply energy, conditions drive signals, and provides local protection so the motor can be started, stopped, or speed-regulated according to process demands.
Inside the enclosure, a control circuit fuse rated at 0.4 A limits faults on auxiliary logic lines, preventing small-signal conductors from carrying excessive current during a short. The cabinet has a heat loss figure of 65 W, so ventilation must remove that heat without allowing internal components to exceed their temperature limits. The drive section supports motors up to 0.75 kW, which makes it suitable for small pumps, conveyors, or positioning tables. Upstream protection can be provided with a line fuse no larger than 20 A, a value matched to the cabinet’s bus capacitors and rectifier ratings. Power terminals accept conductors down to 2.5 mm², which helps keep wiring impedance low while still fitting standard industrial screw clamps.
At elevations up to 3000 m, the cabinet maintains electrical spacing and cooling performance, permitting installation in high-altitude facilities. The housing carries an IP20 rating, so it must be mounted within a secondary enclosure when airborne dust or dripping liquids are present. During operation, the inverter section can deliver 4.5 A of fundamental output current, which corresponds to a continuous apparent power of 1.8 kVA on the internal 200 V DC link. An intermediate fuse of 10 A separates the supply between the mains section and the control section to help localize faults. Vertical mounting, together with 50 mm side clearance and 100 mm top clearance, helps keep convection airflow unobstructed, and the 3 kg assembly supports direct wall or cabinet-rail installation.
