Product Description:
The 07.F0.R01-1228 is an enclosed variable-frequency drive and control rack produced by KEB for the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. It combines line rectification, DC-link energy storage, and inverter stages in a compact metal frame so panel builders can control small induction motors directly from a cabinet slot. In factory automation lines, the unit adjusts motor speed, ramps torque, and provides protective isolation between the mains supply and the connected load without requiring a separate stand-alone drive. The enclosed arrangement places the principal power-conversion components within one cabinet-mounted assembly while leaving the electrical terminals accessible for installation and service.
The input section is rated for a single-phase supply of 230 VAC. After conversion, it can deliver a continuous output current of 4.5 A and a maximum apparent power of 1.8 kVA at the motor terminals. A control-circuit fuse rated at 0.4 A safeguards the logic board, while an intermediate 10 A fuse protects the DC link. A mains fuse rated at 20 A limits fault energy drawn from the supply. The open-collector status outputs tolerate up to 30 V and handle 30 mA, allowing contact-free diagnostic signals to be connected to PLC inputs. The reference channel provides 10 V for analog setpoints, while a +15 V auxiliary rail supplies 30 mA to external potentiometers or sensors.
During rated operation, the inverter releases 65 W of heat, which must be channeled away through panel airflow. It supports motors with an output of up to 0.75 kW; larger loads can cause the output stage and the intermediate fuse to reach their thermal limits. The IP20 protection class permits installation inside closed switchgear while allowing access to terminal blocks that accept conductors as small as 2.5 mm². The rack weighs 3 kg, which should be considered when selecting the mounting surface and cabinet supports. Operation without altitude derating is permitted up to 3000 m above sea level. Above this elevation, reduced air density lowers cooling performance and requires the drive to be derated.
