Product Description:
The 07.F0.R01 is a cabinet-mounted variable frequency drive produced by KEB within the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. It converts three-phase mains power into a regulated output for asynchronous motors, letting machine builders use closed-loop speed regulation without separate drive modules. By combining the power stage, protection elements, and control electronics in one enclosure, the unit simplifies wiring and fits small-power automation tasks such as conveyors, dosing pumps, and indexing tables. The enclosed layout also keeps the main functional sections in one mounting location, which helps reduce panel complexity.
The drive delivers a continuous apparent power of 1.8 kVA at a rated output current of 4.5 A, enabling closed-loop control of small 230 V motors. Its inverter stage produces carrier frequencies up to 408 Hz, so high-pole machines can run smoothly across the speed range. The input accepts supplies from 180 V AC to 264 V AC and uses a 20 A mains fuse, while the intermediate DC bus is protected by a 10 A fuse and the logic circuit is protected by a 0.4 A link. Heat losses of 65 W must be removed by cabinet airflow to keep semiconductor temperatures within the permitted range. With these ratings, the unit can drive loads up to 0.75 kW without current foldback and can support quick acceleration and dynamic braking when used with a correctly sized resistor.
The enclosure has an IP20 rating, so it should be installed inside a switchgear cabinet when dust or other airborne contaminants are present. The controller operates in ambient temperatures from −10 °C to 45 °C, and storage is permitted up to 70 °C. Installation is allowed at altitudes up to 3000 m without derating. Adequate free space above the heat sink is required so cabinet airflow can carry away heat while the drive remains in normal operation. This clearance is important because cooling depends on cabinet airflow rather than on a separate fan inside the unit.
