Product Description:
The 07.F0.220-1278 is a cabinet-mounted AC drive unit produced by KEB within the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. The module functions as a variable-frequency power stage that converts single-phase mains power into a controlled three-phase output for small induction motors in automated machinery. By housing the power electronics, fusing, and control interface in one enclosure, the unit simplifies installation inside control panels and allows users to adjust speed, torque, and direction without mechanical gear changes.
The drive delivers a rated motor current of 4.5 A, corresponding to a continuous apparent power of 1.8 kVA at the output terminals. For applications requiring higher synchronous speeds, the inverter can raise the fundamental frequency up to 408 Hz while supporting a maximum mechanical shaft load of 0.75 kW. Protection on the supply side is handled by a 20 A mains fuse and a 10 A intermediate fuse; these components isolate the cabinet if abnormal currents flow. The single input phase feeds a rectifier whose DC link is monitored for overvoltage at 400 V and undervoltage at 250 V, preventing component stress when line conditions fluctuate. An overheat trip engages when the internal heat sink reaches 70 °C. A 0.4 A control-circuit fuse protects the low-power logic.
The permissible ambient temperature extends from -10 °C during cold starts to +45 °C at full load, provided cabinet airflow remains unobstructed. The enclosure meets the IP20 protection rating, so it prevents finger contact with internal components but must be installed in a closed panel when airborne contaminants are present. Operation is permitted at altitudes up to 3000 m without derating; above this limit, reduced air density may restrict cooling and available output current. Wiring to the output stages should use conductors with a cross-sectional area of at least 2.5 mm² to carry the full load current. Output and control cables should be routed separately to reduce electromagnetic interference inside the cabinet.
