It combines a mains rectifier, DC link, inverter stage, and basic field-wiring interfaces so that small induction motors can be started, stopped, and speed regulated directly from the cabinet. This arrangement keeps the drive components in one enclosure and simplifies the connection between control signals and motor power. The product serves as the central power and I/O point between higher-level PLCs and the machine actuator in automated manufacturing lines.
Its power stage delivers a continuous output current of 4.5 A, translating to 1.8 kVA at the motor terminals under rated conditions. The unit supports motor loads up to 0.75 kW, and the switching electronics generate 65 W of heat at a 4 kHz carrier frequency that must be removed by the enclosure airflow. The cabinet carries an IP20 ingress rating, protecting internal conductors against finger contact while relying on the surrounding panel for additional dust shielding. A 10 A intermediate circuit fuse limits DC-link fault energy, and the mains supply line is routed through conductors not smaller than 2.5 mm² to keep wiring temperature within allowable limits.
