The 07.F0.200-122E belongs to the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series manufactured by KEB. This cabinet-mounted inverter section conditions three-phase mains power and delivers variable-frequency output to small induction motors used in conveying, ventilation, and metering applications. Within an automation cell, it functions as the drive component by translating analog speed references into controlled motor torque while incorporating protection and thermal management hardware within the enclosure. The integrated arrangement reduces the amount of separate drive equipment required around the motor control system.
The inverter supplies a continuous output of 1.8 kVA and a corresponding current of 4.5 A to the motor terminals. Its output frequency can be adjusted from zero to 408 Hz, allowing oversynchronous motor operation when the application requires it. A three-leg bridge creates a three-phase waveform that can energize motors rated up to 0.75 kW. The analog current command input has an impedance of 500 Ω, while the analog voltage command input has an impedance of 56 kΩ, minimizing the electrical load placed on connected control devices. Internal DC-link energy is protected by a 10 A intermediate fuse, and line-side protection uses a 20 A mains fuse. A 0.4 A time-lag control fuse protects the control circuit. The output bus bars accept conductors as small as 2.5 mm² to accommodate wiring appropriate for the rated current. At a switching frequency of 4 kHz, the inverter dissipates 65 W of heat, which must be removed through adequate cabinet airflow.
The assembly has an IP20 protection rating, so it should be installed inside a suitable control cabinet that prevents exposure to dust, moisture, and accidental contact. Installation clearances of 50 mm on each side and 100 mm above and below the unit preserve the airflow paths needed for cooling. Operation is permitted at elevations up to 3000 m above sea level without derating. The required spacing should remain unobstructed by wiring ducts, adjacent components, or bundled conductors that could restrict natural air movement. Ventilation within the surrounding enclosure must be sufficient to prevent heat from accumulating around the inverter during continuous operation. The cabinet layout should also provide access to the protective fuses and motor terminals while maintaining the required separation around energized parts.
