Product Description:
The 07.F0.086-0026 is a cabinet-mounted AC drive module manufactured by KEB for the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. It supplies variable-frequency power to small induction motors, allowing conveyors, mixers, or auxiliary axes to run at controlled speeds instead of being locked to the mains frequency. The enclosure is intended for installation inside larger machine panels, where the unit links field wiring to higher-level PLC commands through its integrated control and power sections.
The power stage is designed for a single-phase supply of 230 VAC, which is the nominal line voltage required at the input terminals. When energized, the inverter can deliver a continuous output current of 4.5 A, matching the typical full-load demands of motors within the listed capacity. The module has a rated apparent power of 1.8 kVA, indicating the electrical load it can supply to the motor under standard operating conditions. Speed regulation is achieved by adjusting the output to a maximum synthesized frequency of 408 Hz, allowing compatible motors to operate above their 50 Hz or 60 Hz base speed when permitted by their mechanical and electrical limits.
Thermal losses inside the housing produce 65 W of heat, which must be removed by natural convection while maintaining the required 100 mm clearance above and below the module. Component protection is classified as IP20, which helps prevent accidental contact with live parts but requires installation in a clean, dry enclosure. After the mains supply is switched off, the internal capacitors discharge to a safe level within 5 minutes, allowing service access after the specified waiting period. The drive can be mounted at elevations up to 3000 m above sea level. Above 1000 m, its continuous ratings decrease by 1% per 100 m to compensate for the reduced air density around the heat sink.
