The 07.F0.200-1288 control cabinet inverter is built by KEB as part of the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series. Designed for small-frame asynchronous or permanent-magnet motors, the unit converts fixed mains power into a variable frequency and voltage output that can be adjusted by a PLC or local keypad. In production lines, conveyors, and light process machinery, it delivers closed-loop speed regulation while keeping the power components and low-voltage control electronics inside a single IP20 metal enclosure.

The power section accepts a single-phase input at 230 V AC. A 10 A mains fuse safeguards this feed, while a 0.4 A time-lag fuse protects the control circuit. From that supply, the drive can deliver a continuous motor current of 4.5 A, equal to 1.8 kVA of apparent power. Pulse-width modulation enables an output frequency of up to 408 Hz, and the carrier can be set as high as 16 kHz for low acoustic noise. KEB specifies a minimum conductor cross-section of 2.5 mm² and provides an open-collector port that sinks 30 mA at 30 V for status signals. A relay contact switches 1.0 A at 30 V DC for fault or run reporting. Forced-air channels cool the silicon devices, and the assembly remains touch-safe thanks to its IP20 rating.

The cabinet must be installed within its stated ambient, altitude, motor, and humidity limits. Continuous duty is supported up to an ambient of 45 °C; above that point, the output current decreases by 5% for every additional degree of rise. Installation is permitted up to 3000 m above sea level provided adequate airflow is maintained. The inverter stage is matched to motors not exceeding 0.75 kW, ensuring the output channel operates within its thermal range. Operation remains stable in atmospheres with non-condensing relative humidity up to 95 %, as long as the panel is protected from dripping water and corrosive vapors.
