The 05.F0.086-0001 is a drive controller in the F0 Combivert Control Cabinets series produced by KEB. Within an automation line, it modulates the voltage and frequency supplied to induction motors, enabling closed-loop speed regulation without mechanical throttling. The cabinet design allows the unit to slide into a rack bay beside PLC, I/O, and relay hardware, creating a compact motion-control section inside the main machine enclosure.
The controller is assigned to voltage class 200 V, so its input section is intended for low-voltage industrial power sources near that level. It has a rated apparent power of 0.9 kVA and a rated output current of 2.3 A; these ratings assist with the selection of upstream power components and cooling provisions. Motor speed can be adjusted from zero to a maximum output frequency of 408 Hz, while the internal IGBTs switch at up to 4 kHz to shape the output waveform. A four-quadrant DC link is protected by a 6.3 A intermediate-circuit fuse, and the input accepts a mains frequency of 50 or 60 Hz with a tolerance of ±2 Hz. Because no cooling fan is fitted, heat must be removed by natural convection through the rack rails. The output bridge provides three-phase power, and the motor wiring must use conductors with a cross-sectional area of at least 1.5 mm².
The controller supports a maximum motor shaft output of 0.37 kW, and the upstream protective device must not exceed 10 A. Power dissipation is limited to 44 W, allowing the unit to share cabinet airflow with nearby control electronics. Rack mounting keeps the electrical terminations accessible from the front of the cabinet, which simplifies installation within a densely arranged enclosure. Installation is permitted at elevations up to 3000 m above sea level without derating. The adjustable output is suitable for compact conveyor drives, indexing stations, and light pumps that require continuous speed regulation.
