Product Description:

The 23.E4.T60-1001 is an electromagnetic-compatibility line filter manufactured by KEB for the Combiline EMC Filters series. Installed between the mains and a frequency converter or servo amplifier, it attenuates differential-mode and common-mode noise that would otherwise return to the plant power grid. By adding controlled inductance and capacitance on each phase, the component helps automation systems meet emission limits while reducing high-frequency interference near sensors and communication lines.

Electrical performance includes a continuous load capacity of 180 A, allowing the filter to pass this current without saturation or excessive heat. Its copper windings introduce only 0.007 Ω/phase of DC resistance, so voltage drop to the drive remains low. The network side accepts up to 3 × 480 V AC (+10%), making it suitable for 400 V or 480 V grids. It is intended for line frequencies of 50/60 Hz with a tolerance of ±2%. During operation, the internal losses reach 40 W, and that heat must be removed by convection inside the cabinet. For wiring, 50 mm² conductors are recommended to match the terminal rating.

Compliance is classified as C1[B], indicating suitability for installations that require low conducted emissions. Under nominal voltage, the displacement current to protective earth remains below <45 mA, which helps when selecting compatible ground-fault protection. The housing supports continuous service up to 45 °C ambient without derating, and its dimensions are 240 mm deep, 110 mm wide, and 474 mm high. When paired with a drive, the filter is intended for motor lead lengths up to 30 m; longer cables usually require additional output chokes to limit dv/dt. Insulation strength is 2100 V DC phase-to-phase and 2700 V DC phase-to-ground, and the assembly weighs 15 kg.
