Product Description:
The 00.C6.FD0-AC50 is an external antenna accessory for the C6 Combicontrol Bus Couplers series manufactured by KEB. It attaches to the coupler’s communication module to establish wireless links for status reporting, parameter updates, and machine data exchange in distributed automation cells. By moving radio transmission outside metal enclosures, the accessory maintains signal integrity in electrically noisy production areas.
This antenna operates across a wide frequency range of 800 MHz to 2200 MHz, allowing compatibility with GSM, UMTS, and LTE bands used by the gateway integrated in the coupler. With an antenna gain of 0 dBi, the radiator follows an electrically neutral pattern, helping maintain predictable field strength close to the equipment. A characteristic impedance of 50 ohms matches standard RF coaxial lines and minimizes reflection at the straight SMA male connector that terminates the five-meter feed cable. The assembly tolerates continuous RF power levels up to 20 W, which is sufficient for typical industrial telemetry transmitters. The voltage standing-wave ratio remains at or below 2.3, keeping return loss within acceptable limits for reliable transceiver performance. The field orientation is linear, easing integration with modems that use single-polarized antennas.
The mechanical layout supports installation in compact cabinets. The fiberglass whip stands 48 mm above its mounting surface, so it fits inside tight enclosures without folding. A factory-installed coax provides 5 m of reach, allowing placement away from metallic obstructions while maintaining the specified insertion loss. The antenna passes through a 6.5 mm mounting hole and is secured with 0.9 Nm of torque, which helps prevent damage to the bulkhead threads. The working temperature range is −40 °C to +85 °C, enabling installation on outdoor panels and refrigerated machines. The straight SMA interface also supports straightforward attachment to the coupler’s radio connection.
