Product Description:
The 00.C6.CC1-0400 is an analog I/O slice produced by KEB within the C6 Combicontrol Bus Couplers series. Integrated into EtherCAT-based machine networks, the module digitizes voltage signals from sensors or actuators and forwards the data to the central controller through the backplane E-bus. By translating field-level analog measurements into protocol-compatible process data, it supports closed-loop tasks such as temperature, pressure, or position regulation in industrial automation cells.
It accepts 16 single-ended channels or 8 differential channels, allowing a choice between space-saving common-ground wiring and higher-accuracy paired measurement. Each channel provides 13-bit resolution, so the 10 V span is subdivided into 8,192 counts, enabling a step size near 1.22 mV. The successive-approximation converter completes a scan of all inputs in 580 µs, keeping control loops responsive. An internal analog front end uses a typical 1 kHz filter, which attenuates higher-frequency noise before conversion. Power for the A/D stages is drawn from the backplane, and the slice draws 220 mA from the E-bus for operation. Typical total measurement error remains below ±0.4%, and the supported voltage range covers both 0–10 V and ±10 V signals through a 36-pole spring-loaded terminal.
The communication side features a 100 Mbit/s EtherCAT interface, allowing the slice to occupy a deterministic, time-synchronized position on high-speed control networks. Signal loading on source devices is minimal because the input stage presents a resistance of greater than 1 MΩ, so most transducers operate without additional buffering. The module is rated for continuous operation from 0 to +55 °C, and it can be stored at temperatures as low as −25 °C. A molded housing with IP20 protection fits standard DIN rails and is paired with a 10-pole side system plug that carries both data and internal power distribution. This arrangement permits multiple analog slices to be stacked while maintaining compact wiring and deterministic bus timing.
