Product Description:
The FC102PKSTSE55H3XGXXXXSXXXXAXBXC is an AC variable-frequency drive in the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series produced by Danfoss. It converts fixed-frequency, three-phase mains power into a regulated output that allows building-management controllers to adjust fan or pump speed according to real-time demand. The drive supports closed-loop control of airflow, chilled-water circulation, and related building services, helping reduce energy consumption while maintaining stable operating conditions across ventilation and hydronic systems. Its variable-speed output also limits unnecessary motor operation when the connected equipment is working below its maximum capacity.
Slot B is supplied with no adaptation, so the drive does not include a fieldbus or application-specific expansion card in that position. The unit has no brake chopper, which means regenerative energy produced during rapid deceleration cannot be dissipated through an internally controlled braking resistor. If the connected load can return significant energy to the DC bus, the system must use a suitable external method to control the resulting voltage rise. The drive is supplied with no local control panel, so parameter entry and status monitoring require a compatible remote keypad, computer connection, or building-control interface. It also includes no mains option, leaving any required harmonic filtering, line protection, or surge suppression to separate equipment installed on the supply side.
The drive uses uncoated printed circuit boards, which do not have a conformal coating for added protection against moisture and airborne contaminants. Installation in a clean, climate-controlled enclosure helps protect the electronics from condensation, conductive dust, and other conditions that could cause electrical tracking or corrosion. The available menu resources include the Standard Language Pack, which provides multilingual interface options when a compatible keypad or remote display is connected. Applications that require a certified safe stop function should use an appropriately designed safety circuit and follow the drive documentation for the required control-terminal connections. Safety switching, braking control, and regenerative energy management must be treated as separate functions because stopping torque and removal of motor-producing energy serve different purposes.
