Product Description:
The FC-102P5K5T4P55H1UGXXXXSXXXXAXB2CXXXXDX is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It regulates induction-motor speed so ventilation fans, pumps, and chiller compressors can respond to changes in building demand. The drive adjusts motor frequency and voltage according to commands received from the connected building or process control system. This variable-speed operation supports controlled airflow, water circulation, and compressor output across commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
The drive accepts a supply voltage of 380–480 VAC. Its input section is designed for three-phase power, eliminating the need for separate phase-conversion equipment. The unit provides a continuous mechanical output of 5.5 kW, giving it sufficient capacity for midsize air-handling units, circulation pumps, and similar motor-driven equipment. The enclosure provides IP55 protection against dust and water jets. A Type 12 backplate supports installation outside an additional control cabinet when the surrounding conditions remain within the enclosure limits. The enclosure arrangement uses a Frame A5 format with the supplied B and C backplates for direct mounting.
The drive uses a Graphical Local Control Panel for viewing operating data, changing parameters, and issuing local commands. Field conductors enter through standard cable entries because adaptation A uses standard fittings. Adaptation B is not installed. The integrated brake chopper and Safe Stop functions perform separate control tasks during braking and shutdown. The brake chopper dissipates regenerated energy, while Safe Stop removes torque-producing power from the motor. An embedded RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter limits conducted electromagnetic emissions on the power connection. The printed circuit boards are uncoated, and no mains-side option module is installed. The operator interface includes the Standard Language Pack, while the drive uses the latest standard software release without an additional software option.
