This speed control allows equipment to deliver only the airflow or water volume demanded by the control loop, reducing energy use and mechanical stress.

At 400 V, the inverter furnishes up to 745 A of output current to the motor terminals, while its electrical design provides an efficiency of 0.98 under nominal load. Mechanical output reaches 400 kW, and the drive produces 8,677 W of heat during power conversion. This heat-loss value can be used to determine the ventilation or cooling capacity required for the enclosure. Conductors up to 4 × 240 mm², or 4 × 500 MCM, per phase can be connected to the bus bars, and upstream protection may be provided by a 900 A fuse. The cabinet section containing the electronics measures 1,547 mm high, 585 mm wide, and 498 mm deep, allowing sufficient floor space and clearance to be allocated in the mechanical room.

For transient events, the drive tolerates an overload of 110% for 60 seconds, enabling short bursts of additional torque during damper or valve startup. Motor frequency can be adjusted across a range of 0–590 Hz, allowing deep turndown as well as overspeed operation when permitted by the connected motor and fan system. The enclosure carries an IP00 rating, so the unit must be installed inside a dedicated panel that provides suitable protection against contact and contaminants. When connected to a 460 V supply, the same power section can deliver up to 600 hp of mechanical output at the shaft.
