Product Description:
The FC-102P15KT4E20H2XGXXXXSXXXXAXBXCXXXXDX is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. In air-handling and pumping systems, it adjusts motor speed to match real-time demand instead of running connected equipment continuously at full speed. By varying output frequency and voltage, it can reduce energy use, mechanical wear, and unnecessary noise in ventilation or water circuits. The unit is intended for installation in standard control cabinets and can integrate with building-management networks for ventilation, heating, and chilled-water systems.
The drive provides 15 kW of continuous output, which is equivalent to 20 HP, when connected to a mains supply of 380–480 VAC. It operates on three-phase power and uses IP20 chassis protection for cabinet installation. Because the enclosure is open-chassis style, it relies on the surrounding cabinet for additional protection from dust and accidental contact. The unit uses normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, allowing placement on common backplates used with other control components. Thermal braking energy cannot be dissipated internally because the model is supplied without a brake chopper, so applications with significant regenerative energy require external braking hardware. Input harmonics are limited by an internal DC bus used with line reactors, and the built-in RFI filter supports Class C2 emission limits.
Electrical entry points use standard cable entries, so gland plates do not require special cutouts. Operator interaction is provided through a graphical local control panel that displays status text in a user-selected language from the standard language pack. This gives the front of the cabinet a direct interface for local viewing and basic adjustment. No auxiliary A, B, C, D, or C0 option cards are fitted, the C1 EMC slot is vacant, and there is no mains disconnect option. The printed circuit boards have no conformal coating, so the drive is best suited for clean, noncorrosive electrical rooms and should not be placed where corrosive vapors or conductive contamination are present.
