The unit is intended for air-handling systems, pumps, and chiller loops where dynamic speed control can reduce energy consumption and mechanical wear. It converts fixed-frequency mains power into a variable-frequency output that regulates the speed of a connected AC motor. The drive can be integrated into industrial building-automation panels that control ventilation, circulation, and cooling equipment.

The standard configuration leaves these expansion positions unused while preserving access for later system additions.
