Danfoss manufactures the FC-102P11KT4E20H1XGXXXXSXXXXAXBXCXXXXDX variable-frequency drive as part of the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. The unit regulates the speed of induction motors used in air-handling units, pumps, and chillers. By adjusting motor output in response to load demand, it allows building automation systems to manage airflow and water flow while reducing unnecessary energy consumption. The drive converts fixed-frequency mains power into a controlled three-phase output for common commercial building services.

The drive provides a continuous output of 11 kW, which corresponds to 15 HP and supports midsized supply fans, return fans, pumps, and chillers. It accepts line power from 380–480 VAC and requires three-phase power. An IP20 chassis enclosure protects against accidental contact with internal components while allowing installation inside a ventilated electrical cabinet or equipment room. The unit has no integrated brake chopper, so applications requiring controlled motor braking must use an external braking arrangement. The configuration includes no mains option, which means preinstalled line-side fuses and disconnects are not included. Plant protection and isolation devices must therefore be selected and installed separately from the drive.

Users operate the drive through a graphical local control panel that attaches to the front of the chassis and displays operating values, menus, and diagnostic information. Standard cable entries provide the physical routing arrangement identified as Adaptation A, allowing power and control wiring to enter the enclosure through the normal access points. An integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter reduces conducted electromagnetic interference and can eliminate the need for a separate line filter in many commercial installations. The controller uses the Standard Language Pack to provide multilingual menu access for setup and operation. Option bays A, B, C0, C1, and D are empty, leaving the corresponding communication and application interfaces unpopulated. Adaptation B is not included in this configuration. The drive uses an uncoated printed circuit board intended for clean, dry cabinet environments where the electronics are not exposed to corrosive airborne contaminants.
