The FC-102P is the perfect control system for customers who want to save energy and significantly reduce operation costs while enjoying accurate motion control. It is a frequency converter built by Danfoss Automation; it contains the latest control technology and is able to function optimally in extreme climatic conditions. Unlike other converter designs, operators do not have to come into physical contact with this converter type to use it; it can simply be connected to a My Drive App on IOS or Android devices and operated remotely. The ability of this converter to function remotely provides operators with the opportunity to install it in inaccessible machine rooms and isolated outposts without problems. The FC-102P frequency converter is AHRI certified; it is designed to bring optimized process control to all heating, ventilation and air conditioning applications.

There is a nameplate attached to an easy unit of the FC-102P frequency converter; the nameplate is important during delivery and installation as it contains all identification information about the drive. To ensure electrical safety during the operation of this converter, operators should ensure that the converter is properly grounded before operation; also, grounding one converter to another in a “daisy chain” fashion is not allowed. The minimum cable cross section for this product is about 10 millimeters square.

The FC-102P frequency converter should be installed with enough clearance at the top and bottom of its housing to allow easy ventilation and reduce the build-up of heat. The converter should be solidly mounted to protect it from vibrations. Alternatively, shock mounts can be used with the product. When an error occurs during the operation of this frequency converter, it immediately generates an error code, which is instantly communicated on the display.
