The FC-102N132T4E21H4XG variable frequency drive is produced by Danfoss within the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. As an AC motor controller for ventilation, pumping, and chiller systems, it adjusts induction motor speed to match changing building demand and reduce energy use in industrial automation. The unit is a drive rather than a standalone motor, so it is intended to regulate external motor operation instead of generating motion on its own.
The drive supplies up to 110 kW of mechanical output, which equals 150 HP in North American sizing. This power is delivered from a mains input range of 380 – 480 VAC, allowing installation on common three-phase distribution systems. The internal rectifier, inverter, and sine-filter section are optimized for three-phase power, which helps maintain balanced input loading during operation.
