The 174L1083 is a groundbreaking frequency converter designed by Danfoss Automation to provide reliable heating and ventilation control in environments that have previously been inaccessible to automation devices. Under standard conditions, the converter will reach and maintain an efficiency level as high as 95 percent. The enclosure of this product is intentionally designed to be rugged and able to resist harsh ambient conditions with temperature and humidity extremes. The components used in this converter also guarantee reliable operating standards for at least 10 years.

Compared to other drives used in ventilation and cooling control, the 174L1083 maintains a significantly low cost of ownership and maintenance. Customers are able to use the product in ambient temperatures as low as -25 degrees Celsius and as high as 55 degrees Celsius. The ability of this drive to operate without derating at high ambient temperatures eliminates the need for an external cooling system.
