Product Description:
The 135X5829 belongs to the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series manufactured by Danfoss. It is an AC variable-frequency drive intended to regulate fan and pump motors in building automation systems so that air-handling units, chillers, and heating loops operate at the required flow while minimizing energy use. Through its integrated graphical local control panel, users can adjust parameters on site without external tools, and the unit mounts inside standard control cabinets alongside other field controllers.
This drive accepts a line supply of 380 – 480 VAC on a three-phase power network and can deliver up to 2.2 kW of shaft power to an induction motor. In typical HVAC applications, this rating covers small air movers or secondary circulation pumps. The enclosure rating of IP20 / Chassis means live parts are protected against finger contact, making it suitable for installation inside ventilated panels. Mechanical layout follows the compact A2 frame class, allowing multiple units to be stacked in restricted cabinet widths while still permitting ambient airflow. A factory-installed RFI filter suppresses conducted emissions, and the safe-stop section is built without an internal brake chopper because HVAC loads rarely require dynamic braking. The printed circuit boards are uncoated, reflecting the intended dry-air environment of electrical rooms.
Physical depth measures 220.0 mm, width is 90.0 mm, and overall height reaches 268.0 mm; these dimensions let panel space be reserved precisely during layout. Standard cable entries are provided, and no additional mechanical adaptations are specified, so wiring follows conventional gland practices. The A-option fieldbus provides MCA 125 BACnet/IP connectivity, enabling the controller to publish status points directly to a supervisory building management system without an intermediary gateway. Normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames is supported.
