Product Description:
The 134L6625 Frequency Converter supports digital and analog I/O, RS-485 communication and various voltage levels. It offers reliable switching rates, safe torque off and enhanced torque startup performance.
The 134L6625 frequency converter includes three main connectors. The connector 1 offers four programmable digital inputs and two terminals that function as digital input or output. It includes a 24 V DC terminal supply and a common for customer supplied 24 V DC voltage. The connector 2 features terminals (+) 68 and (-) 69 that are designated for RS-485 serial communication. The connector 3 provides two analog inputs, one analog output and a 10 V DC supply. The commons are also included for analog signals. For torque control, the device supports a starting torque of up to 135 % for 0.5 seconds and up to 110 % for 60 seconds in constant torque mode. The device ensures controlled torque application and safe shutdown mechanisms. The unit does not support coated PCB for environmental resistance and there's no mains switch included. It conforms to strict electromagnetic compatibility requirements for industrial use with an RFI filter.
The Safe Torque Off is enabled in this 134L6625 frequency converter via terminal 37 with fixed PNP logic. The input voltage range of the STO is 0 – 24 V DC. The logic low is defined as under 4 V DC and logic high is above 20 V DC. The maximum voltage is 28 V DC. At 24 V DC, input current is typically 50 mA rms; at 20 V DC, it is 60 mA rms. The model support switching only once per minute. This limit protect internal power electronics and enhance service life.
Frequently Asked Questions about 134L6625:
Q: What are the switching behavior limits of the 134L6625 frequency converter under continuous use?
A: The unit allows one switching event per minute to protect internal power electronics. This constraint ensures thermal protection and extends the converter’s operating life.
Q: How does the 134L6625 frequency converter handle high-torque demands during motor startup?
A: It provides enhanced torque at startup, supporting up to 135% torque briefly in constant torque mode. This improves control during load acceleration without compromising stability.
Q: What communication options are available on the 134L6625 frequency converter for serial data exchange?
A: Connector 2 offers RS-485 serial communication via terminals 68 and 69. This supports integration into industrial fieldbus networks and enables fast data transmission.
Q: How does the 134L6625 frequency converter ensure safety through its STO implementation?
A: The Safe Torque Off function operates via terminal 37 using fixed PNP logic. It safely disables motor torque by meeting voltage thresholds and consuming defined input currents.
Q: How does the 134L6625 frequency converter manage I/O flexibility for mixed signal environments?
A: The connector 1 supports four digital inputs and two configurable I/O terminals. It provides 24 V DC supply and a common for externally powered logic systems.
