Product Description:
The 134L5912 is an AC drive manufactured by Danfoss within the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency supply power into a variable-frequency output for motor speed control in building automation systems. Building controllers can use this adjustable output to regulate fans or pumps in response to real-time heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning demands. Reducing motor speed when full output is unnecessary can lower energy use while allowing the connected equipment to respond smoothly to changing airflow or water-flow requirements.
The power stage accepts 200–240 VAC from a three-phase power source, allowing direct connection to compatible commercial power distribution systems. An embedded RFI filter limits conducted electrical noise on the incoming power and motor leads, helping prevent interference with nearby control equipment. The enclosure has an IP55 / Type 12 rating, protecting internal components against dust and water projected from low-pressure nozzles. Users navigate parameters through the Graphical Local Control Panel, which provides a backlit display and keypad for entering operating values. The panel can also store setup configurations for transfer between compatible drives, reducing the need to enter every parameter manually. The available interface supports local status monitoring, parameter adjustments, and direct control during system setup or routine operation.
A coated printed circuit board protects fine conductive traces against condensation, chemical fumes, and airborne fibers that may be present in mechanical rooms. This protective coating helps maintain electrical isolation when the drive operates near ventilation equipment, pumps, or other machinery that can expose controls to moisture and contaminants. The drive has no brake chopper, so deceleration energy must be absorbed by the motor load or handled by suitable external braking equipment. Menu text and help screens are provided through the Standard Language Pack, allowing users to select supported display languages without changing the control hardware. Adaptation B is configured for no adaptation, allowing the controller to operate with the default HVAC control routine. The vacant expansion positions leave the base control arrangement unchanged and avoid additional option-card wiring inside the enclosure.
