Product Description:
The 134L4254 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It modulates motor speed in air-handling units and pump stations so airflow or pressure can follow changing system demand. Adjusting motor operation to the required load can reduce unnecessary energy consumption in building automation systems. The internal series identifier is 102, linking the unit to the electrical architecture and mechanical dimensions used across this drive platform.
The inverter delivers a continuous output of 1.1 kW, corresponding to a mechanical output rating of 1.5 HP. Its input section accepts a three-phase supply from 200–240 VAC, allowing connection to compatible low-voltage building power systems without an autotransformer. An IP21 / Type 1 enclosure protects the internal components from accidental contact and vertically dripping water during indoor operation. The enclosure and mechanical layout support dry indoor installation on applicable frames B through E. The drive includes a safe-stop function but does not contain an internal brake chopper. Its rectifier and power stage regulate the energy flow required for normal motor acceleration, steady operation, and controlled deceleration.
Operator interaction is provided through a graphical local control panel, which allows parameter access and local start-stop control without separate programming equipment. Cable routing uses standard cable entries under Adaptation A, providing a consistent arrangement for power, motor, and control wiring. Conducted electrical noise is reduced by an integrated RFI filter, which helps limit interference transferred to the connected power distribution system. The drive has no brake chopper, so applications that produce substantial regenerative energy may require a separate braking arrangement. The control board uses an uncoated PCB intended for clean, dry indoor environments without significant moisture or corrosive airborne contaminants. Option slots A, B, C0, C1, and D are empty in this configuration. No mains option is installed, and adaptation position B does not contain an additional adaptation module.
