The 134L2169 variable frequency drive is manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It is intended for cabinet installation in building automation systems, where it adjusts the speed of fans, pumps, and compressors to match changing thermal demand. That operating role helps the drive support steady airflow or fluid control in HVAC equipment without requiring fixed-speed motor operation. The unit is suited to installations that use centralized control and distributed field devices inside standard electrical enclosures.
The drive accepts a mains supply of 380–480 VAC on a three-phase power network. Its enclosure class is IP20 / Chassis, so it is meant for use inside a larger cabinet that provides additional protection against dust and accidental contact. A built-in graphical local control panel allows local status viewing and parameter entry, while the integrated LonWorks MCA 108 A-option supports communication with LonWorks-based HVAC networks. An RFI filter is installed to reduce conducted emissions at the mains connection. The unit has no brake chopper, so braking energy must be handled by external means when the application requires it. The printed circuit board has no conformal coating, which is appropriate for clean, controlled cabinet environments.
