The 132N9408 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It is intended for induction motors used in air-handling units, chillers, and supply pumps in commercial building systems. In building automation, it adjusts motor speed to match changing airflow or water-flow demand, which helps reduce electrical consumption during part-load operation and keeps output closer to the required setpoint. The power section accepts 380–480 VAC from a three-phase power supply, so the unit can connect directly to common low-voltage distribution systems without additional voltage conversion.

The drive uses an IP20 chassis enclosure for cabinet mounting where basic finger protection is sufficient. An integrated RFI filter helps reduce conducted emissions on the supply lines, which supports cleaner operation when the drive shares electrical infrastructure with other control equipment.
