The 132N3949 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It regulates the speed of three-phase induction motors so air handlers, pumps, and condensers can match actual demand instead of running at fixed line frequency. In building automation, this helps reduce energy use and mechanical wear on fans and compressors while maintaining the airflow or water circulation required by the control system.

The drive mounts in a NEMA 1 housing that protects the internal electronics when installed in mechanical rooms or electrical closets. Its mechanical outline follows frame size A3, which sets the cabinet space and heat-sink dimensions needed for installation. On the mains side, it accepts a 600 VAC supply, draws up to 6.3 A, and is wired for three-phase power at 60 Hz. No reactor or external filter is supplied, so harmonic mitigation must be handled upstream if required.
