Product Description:
The 131X7535 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It controls the speed of three-phase induction motors used in air-handling units, pumps, and fans. By adjusting motor speed, the drive allows building automation systems to match airflow or water flow to real-time demand. This variable-speed operation can reduce unnecessary motor output when the connected HVAC equipment operates below its maximum capacity.
The unit delivers 1.1 kW of continuous output power, which corresponds to 1.5 HP. It accepts commercial mains power from 380–480 VAC across all three phases. The drive is designed for three-phase power, allowing it to operate compatible industrial induction motors without a separate phase converter. A backplate rated to IP55 / Type 12 protects the internal electronics against dust and water jets, supporting installation in suitable mechanical rooms without an additional enclosure. Mounting follows the Frame A5, B, and C open-drive backplate layout, which provides a fixed hole pattern for installation in compatible cabinets. The drive does not include a brake chopper, so regenerative energy requires appropriate external handling when rapid motor deceleration is necessary. Printed circuit boards are not conformally coated, making the unit most appropriate for clean, indoor locations where moisture and airborne contaminants are controlled.
User interaction is provided through a graphical local control panel with a backlit display for viewing and adjusting operating parameters. The panel provides local access to drive settings and operating information without requiring a separate display device. An integral mains disconnect handle isolates incoming power and provides on-site lockout capability during maintenance. A factory-installed RFI filter attenuates conducted electromagnetic emissions that could otherwise travel through the mains wiring. The filter supports operation near other electronic controls and communication equipment in a building automation system. The open-drive backplate arrangement also provides direct access to the control panel, disconnect handle, and wiring areas after the unit is mounted in an appropriate location.
