Product Description:
The 131X2785 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It regulates the speed of three-phase induction motors used with fans, pumps, and compressors in building automation systems. By adjusting motor output to match changing demand, the drive can conserve energy while maintaining airflow and pressure setpoints. Its variable-speed control also reduces the need for mechanical throttling devices in compatible HVAC applications.
This model connects to a mains supply in the 380 – 480 VAC range and supports three-phase power, allowing direct connection to standard industrial distribution networks. Conducted emissions are limited by the built-in RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which helps the installation meet applicable electromagnetic compatibility limits without an additional external filter. Braking energy is not routed to a resistor because the unit has no brake chopper. Fan and pump loads can typically decelerate through their normal mechanical inertia when rapid stopping is not required. Users interact with the drive through a detachable graphical local control panel, which displays parameters, operating trends, and alarms on its LCD. The panel also provides local start-stop controls and supports switching between manual and automatic operation.
The power board uses an uncoated printed circuit board, so the enclosure should prevent corrosive vapors and other harmful contaminants from reaching the electronics. The drive carries the internal series identifier 102, which associates it with the applicable FC 102 configuration and parameter structure. Menu content is available in multiple languages through the standard language pack. Parameter set B is supplied with no application adaptation, leaving its application settings at their factory defaults until they are configured for the installation. The optional plug-in positions labeled A, B, C0, C1, D, and the mains position are unpopulated. These available positions can accommodate compatible input and output modules, serial communication options, or harmonic filtering equipment when the application requires those functions.
