Product Description:
The 131X0220 is an AC drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It regulates fan and pump speed in ventilation, heating, and cooling installations, letting building automation controllers match motor output to real-time demand and reduce energy use. Variable-speed control also helps limit unnecessary full-speed operation during partial-load conditions.
This model connects to a supply range of 380 – 480 VAC and is designed for three-phase power, so it fits standard industrial distribution panels without single-phase derating. The chassis carries an IP20 rating, meaning internal components are finger-safe when the unit is mounted inside a cabinet. A factory-installed RFI filter attenuates conducted emissions and helps the system comply with EMC limits in commercial buildings. Drive setup is done on the front-mounted graphical local control panel, which shows operating data, alarms, and parameter menus in plain text. Normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames keeps heat-sink airflow predictable, and the standard cable entries support straightforward conduit routing. The PCB is not coated, and no mains option or C-series software extension is enabled.
Control flexibility is extended by the B-option board, a MCB-109 I/O module that adds real-time clock backup for scheduled start-stop routines. The D-option provides MCB-107 24 V DC backup power so fieldbus communication and fault logging stay active during mains outages. Because there is no brake chopper, dynamic braking resistors cannot be wired directly, so applications that require fast deceleration must use mechanical damping or an external chopper. The drive is delivered with the Standard Language Pack, which provides multilingual parameter text. No A, C0, or C1 option cards are fitted, and the PCB coating, mains filter variant, and protective adaptations remain at their default factory settings for HVAC duty.
