The Danfoss 131H1632 was designed to make heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems easier to manage. The drive is small and light, weighing just 4.6 kg, so it's simple to add to control panels or retrofits. One of the best things about the 131H1632 is that it can save and handle up to four separate parameter configurations.

This multi-setup feature lets users configure the drive for numerous control schemes or machine setups, making it easier to apply complex control methods without needing extra external controllers. For instance, one setup might be adjusted for horizontal motor operation while another is set up for vertical movement. In OEM applications, several settings can also be pre-programmed for different kinds of machines. During commissioning or production, one may rapidly choose a certain layout, which makes setup easier and cuts down on configuration time. Users may choose the active parameter setup by selecting parameter 0–10 ("Active Set-up"). The status of the setting is shown on the Local Control Panel (LCP).

The drive can switch between configurations while it's operating, however certain settings (marked as "FALSE" in the "Change during operation" column) need the drive to be paused before switching to prevent problems. Linking configurations via parameter 0-12 makes sure that parameters that can't be modified while the system is running remain in sync. This makes it easy to switch between various control systems. Copy functions make parameter management even easier by letting users copy parameter settings from one configuration to another using parameter 0-51. This is especially helpful for OEMs or facilities that have to deal with a lot of drives or machine types. It makes bulk commissioning and parameter standardization quicker and more reliable.
