Product Description:
The 131G0466 is an AC variable frequency drive from Danfoss offered within the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series and classified in the VLT HVAC Drive product group. As a field-installed drive, it converts fixed line power into a regulated output frequency so building automation systems can modulate fan, pump, and compressor speeds to match real-time thermal demand. By integrating speed control directly into the cabinet, the unit reduces mechanical throttling losses and supports energy-efficient airflow control in air-handling units, cooling towers, and boiler feed circuits.
The drive delivers 11 kW of continuous output, enabling motors with that rating to run at full load without derating. It accepts 380–480 VAC and uses three-phase power, making it compatible with common industrial power distribution systems without conversion. Standard cabinet mounting on A, B, or C frames simplifies integration into a motor control center. The IP20 chassis enclosure requires installation in a protected indoor location. An integrated RFI filter attenuates conducted electrical noise and reduces the need for an additional line filter. The design does not include a brake chopper, so regenerative energy must be managed through controlled motor deceleration or external equipment. No mains option is installed, so upstream isolation must be provided separately.
The drive has a corresponding imperial power rating of 15 HP. Local configuration is performed through the graphical local control panel, which displays parameters using a standard language pack. Cable routing is supported by standard cable entries, and no additional A or B option kits are attached. The unit uses uncoated printed circuit boards, so it should not be installed in areas with high humidity or corrosive contaminants unless suitable enclosure protection is provided. The C0, C1, D, and adaptation-B auxiliary slots are empty, leaving them available for compatible plug-in cards when additional functions are required.
