Product Description:
The 131F9039 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. Intended for fan and pump applications in building automation, it adjusts motor speed to match airflow or water demand, improving energy efficiency and limiting mechanical wear. The drive combines speed control, motor protection, and an integrated user interface in one chassis. Its compact arrangement is suitable for OEM panels and retrofit installations where available cabinet space may be limited.
The drive accepts three-phase power directly from the facility mains. It has an IP20 chassis enclosure that provides basic protection against finger contact when the unit is installed inside a switchgear cabinet. The unit supports standard cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, allowing it to fit common panel layouts without additional brackets. Its integrated graphical local control panel displays parameters in plain text and presents trend graphs for local setup and monitoring. The drive does not have a brake chopper, so it cannot control an external braking resistor through dedicated inverter terminals. This configuration is appropriate for fan and pump loads that do not require frequent dynamic braking.
The factory configuration uses standard cable entries to simplify the routing of power and control wiring into the enclosure. There is no adaptation in position B, while option slots A and B and the mains option position are unpopulated. The designation of no installed filter means that external radio-frequency interference suppression may be necessary in electrically sensitive environments. The control electronics use an uncoated PCB, so the drive should be installed in a clean cabinet area that is protected from high humidity and corrosive fumes. The unit uses series code 102 for compatibility with VLT HVAC application macros, while the standard language pack provides multilingual text through the control panel. Option bays C0, C1, and D are also unpopulated, leaving those positions available for compatible input/output or communication modules that may be added later.
