Product Description:
The 131F6629 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. It regulates the speed of centrifugal fans, pumps, and compressors used in industrial and commercial climate-control systems. By varying motor speed in response to control signals, the drive reduces dependence on mechanical dampers, valves, and throttles. This method allows connected equipment to match changing airflow or fluid-flow demands while maintaining controlled motor operation.
The drive delivers up to 22 kW (30 HP) of continuous output, making it suitable for medium-size induction motors commonly installed in air-handling equipment. It accepts a supply range of 380–480 VAC with three-phase power, and its internal rectifier and inverter stages are designed for these line conditions. An IP20 chassis enclosure protects the electronics against accidental contact when the unit is installed inside a suitable switchgear cabinet. The drive does not include a brake chopper, so motor deceleration must rely on process friction or separate braking equipment. Standard cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames supports installation in conventional panel layouts. The drive also lacks a dedicated line disconnect, leaving supply isolation to an upstream circuit breaker or disconnect switch.
Electromagnetic emissions are controlled by an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which supports installation on public low-voltage networks when applicable cable-length requirements are followed. Local operation and parameter entry are handled through a detachable graphical local control panel, providing direct access to operating values and drive settings. Field wiring passes through standard cable entries assigned to Adaptation A, allowing power and control conductors to enter the enclosure through the intended routing points. The circuit boards have an uncoated PCB finish, so the cabinet must protect the drive from excessive humidity, condensation, and airborne contaminants. A standard language pack is preloaded for menu navigation and parameter descriptions. The baseline configuration does not include optional A, B, C0, C1, or D modules, and Adaptation B does not add a separate modification.
