131F6628 is an AC drive. It is used to control the speed of fans and pumps in HVAC applications. The drive has an input voltage rating of 380 to 480 Volts AC. As the voltage amplitude and line frequency of AC mains supplies are fixed, the drive first rectifies its AC input, and then performs a PWM controlled inversion on the intermediate DC to obtain AC output with voltage amplitude and frequency that are variable. It is this variation in the output that the drive uses to control the speed of different types of industrial motors. The 131F6628 drive has a rated shaft output of 75 kilowatts or 100 Horsepower at 460 Volts. The frame size of its IP20 rated chassis is C4. Current output of the drive depends on the voltage.
The continuous output is 147 Amps when the output voltage lies between 380 and 439 Volts, and 130 Amps when the output voltage lies between 440 and 480 Volts.
