Product Description:
The 131F6625 is an AC variable frequency drive in the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series manufactured by Danfoss. Designed for building-service automation, this unit provides closed-loop speed regulation for induction motors that move air or water through climate-control systems. By varying the output frequency instead of relying on mechanical throttling, it matches motor torque to real-time load demands and helps reduce energy consumption in ventilation and hydronic pumping applications. The regulated output also supports gradual acceleration and deceleration, reducing mechanical stress on connected fans, pumps, couplings, and piping systems during routine operation.
It accepts a supply range of 380–480 VAC through a three-phase mains connection and draws 31.9 A at full load. The inverter section converts the incoming power into a variable-frequency output with a continuous motor current capacity of 32 A when operating between 380 and 440 V. The power stage supports motors rated up to 15 kW, allowing it to start and regulate medium-sized fan wheels and pumps without external soft starters. No brake chopper is fitted, so deceleration settings must prevent excess regenerative energy from causing DC-bus overvoltage. An A2 (C3) radio-frequency interference filter limits conducted emissions and helps the installed system meet industrial electromagnetic compatibility requirements. Closed-loop operation allows the drive to adjust motor speed in response to pressure, temperature, flow, or other process feedback signals used in building automation.
Control adjustments are made through the Graphical LCP 102 keypad mounted on the front of the chassis. Heat generated by the switching devices is limited to 392 W, and the chassis-style enclosure carries an IP20 ingress protection rating for installation inside a suitable control cabinet or protected equipment room. The B3 frame measures 165 mm wide, 249 mm deep, and 399 mm high, providing a moderate panel footprint while leaving room for cable bends and ventilation clearance. Its net mass is 10.09 kg, which supports manageable positioning during cabinet assembly. The chassis provides natural convection paths that allow heat to move away from internal components without requiring additional external fans. Adequate spacing around the enclosure helps maintain airflow and prevents nearby wiring or equipment from obstructing heat dissipation.
